Florence

The Colosseum and Capitol Hill, ancient Christian temples and St. Peter's Basilica, the legendary Vatican Museums, magnificent palaces, fountains - there are no Roman sights. Venice

Venice (Venezia) is a world-famous, unique city of canal streets and leisurely gondolas, graceful bridges and stately palaces erected on stilts made of larch. It stands on the northern Adriatic coast, on the numerous islands of the Venetian lagoon. The entire historical core of Venice is on the UNESCO list. St. Mark's Square, the impressive Gothic Doge's Palace, the picturesque Bridge of Sighs and the Grand Canal with grand renaissance building facades are world-famous architectural masterpieces. The heart and symbol of Venice is the grand cathedral of St. Mark. The most striking events in the life of the city are the Historical Regatta on the Grand Canal and the Venice Carnival.

Florence

Florence (Firenze) - Tuscan pearl, the birthplace of the brilliant creators of the Renaissance. The center of world culture, the citadel of opera, the capital of fashion. To carefully examine all the museums, galleries, monuments of Florence, you probably need a lifetime. The beauty of Signoria Square is famous all over the world. The banks of the Arno River, on which stands the "city of flowers", connects the picturesque medieval bridge Ponte Vecchio. Above the Florentine historical center rises the quattrocento masterpiece - the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

Pisa

Pisa (Pisa) - the famous "city of the leaning tower." The bell tower on Miracle Square is a famous, but not the only, Leaning attraction in Pisa. The Borgo Stretto quarter attracts a variety of restaurants. The City Botanical Garden is considered one of the oldest in the world. Snow-white Duomo di Milano - an expressive example of "flaming Gothic"; Passage Gallery Vittorio Emmanuel II - a masterpiece of neoclassicism. In Milan there is a citadel of world opera art - La Scala Theater.

Verona

Verona (Verona) - the city of lovers, sung by Shakespeare. The center of the Veneto region was built on the banks of the Adige River, during the time of the Great Empire, it stood at the intersection of four important roads. Modern Verona is an economic center, the center of architectural masterpieces. Ancient Roman monuments have been preserved here: Arena di Verona, Porta Borsari gate. Near antique rarities are the medieval Castelvecchio castle, Gothic temples, Renaissance mansions, the legendary houses of Shakespearean heroes - Casa di Giulietta and Casa di Romeo.

Naples (Napoli) - the capital of the southern region of Campania, the third most populous metropolis of Italy. A large seaport, forever flooded with sun, stands on the shores of the Gulf of di Napoli at the foot of the slumbering Vesuvius. Its original beauty was formed under the influence of various civilizations and cultures: ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine. The most significant Neapolitan objects: the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Royal Palace, the catacombs of San Gaudioso, the monastery church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, under which the Roman market is hidden.

The Amalfi Coast is a tourist paradise off the Gulf of Salerno on the Sorrento Peninsula. Along the line of mountain cliffs are multi-colored houses, the stairs to the terraces of Amalfi and the fishing village of Positano. In small Amalfi cities, medieval buildings have been preserved. The coast is famous for resort villages, beaches, stalactite caves, lemon groves.

Genoa (Genova) - a medieval sea power, the "queen of the seas". The capital of the northern region of Liguria, the center of the resort coast is the Ligurian Riviera. The historical color here is adjacent to the decadence and energy of a modern large port. The symbol of Genoa is the medieval lighthouse of La Lanterna. The pride of the Genoese is the house where Columbus was born. Famous architectural monuments: the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the ensemble of Piazza Ferrari, the building of the Bank of San Giorgio.

The island of Capri (Capri) - a picturesque corner in the southern part of Golfo di Napoli, a seaside resort, known since ancient Roman times.
