The largest outlet in the vicinity of Florence - McArthurGlen Barberino - is located in the town of Barberino di Mugello, 30 km from the capital of the Renaissance. Small houses on one or two floors form a whole village of boutiques, of which there are about 120. In this article we will talk about the features of the outlet, its opening hours, as well as how to get to Barberino from Florence and return back.

BlogoItaliano has already dedicated a separate article to Florence Outlets, but Barberino - as the largest of them - is worth it to go back to it and talk about everything in more detail.

Florence's Biggest Outlet McArthurGlen Barberino

Outlet Barberino is surrounded by hills, and the mountain river Sieve flows through its territory. Some buyers admit that the area around Barberino is so picturesque that sometimes sitting on a bench or standing on a pedestrian bridge is even nicer than wandering around the shops.

Among the luxury brands represented in Barberino, one can mention Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Timberland and others. The line of more affordable brands is formed by Intimissimi, Levi's, Wrangler, United Colors of Benetton, Columbia, Adidas.

In some stores there are Russian-speaking sellers and consultants. There is also the opportunity to hire a Russian-speaking escort who will recommend suitable places in accordance with your requests and wishes.

In the stores themselves do not hesitate to ask for the size you need, because often most of the goods remain in stock - and there may well be what you need.

On the territory of the outlet there are about 120 stores

The outlet is equipped with ATMs, so you can cash out your funds if necessary. True, you can pay for goods in cash only if the purchase amount does not exceed 500 euros.

Foreign buyers are entitled to apply for Tax Free (value added tax refund) in stores that have a sticker on their door.

To do this, you need to purchase goods worth at least 160 euros, issue a cashier's check and Tax Free receipt at the checkout and present documents and goods at the airport in the Tax Free Cash Refund window.

You can complete your shopping in one of the cozy restaurants or cafes with stunning views of the typical Tuscan landscape. While parents relax at the tables, children can play in the indoor playground.
