Silvio Berlusconi finally divorced his wife

The Italian billionaire officially received the status of a bachelor. One of the Italian courts on Tuesday finally put an end to the marriage of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and his wife, the country's famous actress Veronica Lario.

However, the amount of alimony that the scandalous politician agrees to pay to his already ex-wife has not yet been finally established. Recall that initially the court ruled that Berlusconi should pay his wife 4 million euros a year, but later they reduced the amount to 1.4 million due to the unenviable financial situation of the politician. In the meantime, some sources from Berlusconi’s entourage claim that his next step will be to marry his girlfriend Francesca.

Berlusconi and Lario met in 1980 and were married for 22 years, until another scandal finally destroyed their family.

In 2009, the former actress filed for divorce after her disastrous husband was in the epicenter of history with seduction of a minor. Then Berlusconi was accused of using the services of a 17-year-old foreign prostitute. Soon, the politician appeared in court, which publicly announced that ex-prime minister spent about 230 thousand euros on his minor passion. Investigators managed to find that the girl repeatedly received expensive gifts and jewelry from the billionaire. This story was the last straw for the wife of the wrong politician.

Now Berlusconi is once again a bachelor, but his new girlfriend, Francesca Pascale, will surely try to rectify the situation.

Pascal, who is 50 years younger than her boyfriend, previously claimed that she wants to marry him. However, the politician himself had previously avoided specifics, avoiding questions about his future plans. He previously stated that his new darling supported him in the most difficult moments and even made you believe in true love. The couple met seven years ago in the residence of Berlusconi, when Pascale led the fan club politics.

Later, the girl admitted that the media tycoon interested her even when she was very young, but over time, her feelings only got stronger.

Unfortunately for Berlusconi, a divorce from his wife is perhaps his best trip to the courtroom. The politician has been repeatedly charged with abuse of power, seduction of minors, corruption and many other articles. The actions of the scandalous prime minister were repeatedly described in the media of many countries, and some even claimed that, based on Silvio’s adventures, a whole book could be written.

So what other troubles and litigation did the politician get involved in?

As soon as Berlusconi took the chair of the Italian Prime Minister, he almost immediately found himself in the midst of events and intrigues. So, six months after he was presented with six subpoenas. Politicians have been accused of tax fraud and corruption. And soon he was sentenced to one and a half years in prison. Two years later, the prime minister was faced with allegations of bribing inspectors, knowingly false testimonies, and even ties to the mafia.

But even this adventurous Berlusconi seemed a little.

A tax evasion case has been filed against the owner of Mediaset. The media tycoon used special schemes to pay less to the state treasury. And to this day, legal proceedings continue on this fact. Later, according to investigators, Berlusconi bribed politicians to go over to his side and, of course, had parties with minors.
